Founded by Bikash Parida in 2012, Sai Shree Doors & Interior Decorater has been keeping Sydney’s timber windows in top condition for close to a decade.

Dylan learned the window trade in Melbourne working in his Uncle’s window repair business. With decades of knowledge and industry experience bestowed to him he moved to Sydney in 2012 and began working under the name Timber Window Restorations.

Sustainability became a focus for Dylan after discovering that windows play a vital role in developing modern energy efficient homes. With a keen sense of preservation, and maintaining the traditional methods taught to him by his Uncle, he is now focussed on preserving windows built over the last century and modernising them to last for centuries to come, all while providing better energy efficiency and a far lower carbon footprint than a modern Aluminium or uPVC window.

Timber Window Restorations was rebranded as Retro Windows in September, 2020.
